Our Story

If you’re a parent, you know the juggle. The school runs, the snacks, the endless messes (and the occasional meltdown). We’re right there with you—because we’re parents too, with two little ones who keep us on our toes every single day.

When it came time to set up their spaces, we ran into a problem. Everything we found was either stunning but ridiculously expensive, or affordable but flimsy and, let’s be honest, not something you’d want in the middle of your living room.

Growing up in middle-income families ourselves, we never had fancy “designer” furniture as kids. And honestly, that was fine. But looking around today, we couldn’t help thinking—why isn’t there a middle ground? Why can’t furniture for kids be both beautiful and built to last, without blowing the budget?

That’s how Speckles Kids was born. We wanted to create pieces that:

• Can actually survive real family life (hello, crayon scribbles and snack crumbs).
• Look good in your home, offering calm amidst the colourful chaos of kids’ things.
• Are affordable enough that most families can enjoy them.
• Grows with them through the years

At the end of the day, it’s not just about tables and chairs. It’s about the memories being made around them—the giggles, the milestones, the everyday chaos that somehow turns into the stuff we’ll miss one day.
